Although Shelley B is not really new to the scene, her arrival as a talented female DJ is. She’s been working as a bartender in the NYC nightlife industry for nine years. Originally from Vermont, Shelley B didn’t realized that music was her calling until after discovering the beautiful world of house music while working at the well-known worldly club, Nikki Beach. It was here that Shelley B really heard house music for the first time. The obsession to hear more, and learn more, propelled her to invest the last five years of her life to researching and supporting artists and developing a music library of her own. After spinning at multiple venues in the city, hosting and DJing her own weekly parties, Shelley B took almost a year off to refresh, regroup, and refocus on her style, skills, and sound.
