Sequoia is a 29-year-old DJ from the Netherlands who has a great passion for Electronic Dance Music (EDM). This passion started when he saw DJ Tiesto play at the Olympics in 2004. About ten years later, he bought his first small turntable and started DJ’ing in his bedroom occasionally. In March 2015 he decided to spin the wheels as DJ Sequoia (derived from his last name, Hogeboom, which means “High Tree” in Dutch). He released his first mix on his mixcloudpage and that summer he had his first public gigs in the Netherlands.

His favourite music styles are electro house, big room, future house, progressive house, deep house, bass house and related styles. But when partying, he will play lots of different genres too!
