Hi my name is Jamie, I have mixing since 1997.
I started out on a set of sound lab belt driven decks and it was just about impossible to keep them in beat mach and do a decent mix on them. mainly i mixed hard house and drum and bass as this is what we were into at the time.
I then bought my first pair of technics which where second hand, many hours were spent mixing the same 20 records over and over.
My biggest influence was definitely the late tony de vit, I spent most of my teenage life trying to find out what choones he would play on mix tapes and cds and trawling the internet for them.
I love music and mixing it as i still get such a buzz from it even after doing it for sixteen years.
Im not bothered about playing in clubs and making money all i want to do is play music for my own satisfaction and if i can cheer someone up or give someone a buzz listening to my mixes then thats a job well done.
