Biography
Savage Land is a music project created by Kornilios Kiriakidis
(bass player for Tardive Dyskinesia) in 2008.
The project's sound was shaped after several influences from a large music palette, all the way from Trip hop,Drum & Bass and Ambient
to even more experimental forms.
The first recordings, back in 2008, were performed with vocals
by Chrysa Tsaltampasi (National Pornographik - Bella Fuzz).
A four track EP release, named "Garden Scissors Cry", was followed by 96Khz Records.
Material from these recordings meant to be included in the full album named "Back To The The Prehistoric Land", though it was never released.
After a short time pause due to recordings and tours with Tardive Dyskinesia, in 2012 Savage Land was back again.
This time Flora Ioannidi (Make Believe - Ludmila) joined the project and a new session of recordings took place.
The sound was also refreshed, including more clear influences from Ambient, Jazz, Trip hop and Classical music.
