Santeria is a runaway splinter of the Roman club scene – a sacrilegious, informal, party-loving approach to traditional music intended as the expression of cultures from all around the world and translated to the dance floor through electronic music.
Son of a musician and composer, with his birth he ended his family's nomadic life, which had brought them to travel the world playing and studying Andean music, the culture through which they met and fell in love. Santeria's roots have always pushed him to explore beyond the traditional bounds of electronic music, pouring this learning into his live and studio production. Ultimately – as he sees it – what matters is enjoying music without fear, listening and dancing without asking whether or not the music is "right" enough. In the end, it just needs to be fun.
Since 2016 Santeria collaborates with RNY as a resident artist, a Roman organization that boasts guests such as Floating Points, Kevin Saunderson and Daniel Avery.i
