Born in Columbia, MO, Samuel Benjamin began his musical training with a short lived stint on the piano that was quickly pushed aside by the alto sax. After four years of playing the sax and getting accustomed to the harmonies and subtleties of melody he began taking lessons in percussion, which would become the basis of his musical career. Following bands and Djs like BT, The Disco Biscuits, Sasha, Kraftwerk, Daft Punk, Inland Knights, and Joey Youngman, led him full force into the heart electronic music movement. In 2003 he was put in front of two turntables for the first time and things finally came together. Since ’03 he has spanned multiple genres playing sets at events including Escape in the Beats 2010 thru '13, Dogstock Music Festival, & Breaks.FM and at clubs such as SOL Nightclub, Sake Lounge, Bar XV and Sapphire Lounge, not to mention residencies at The Forge and Vine and Generic Nightclub.
