Nasiha Ha cover image

Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Nasiha is a writer from Tuzla: a critic, an intellectual, and an enthusiastic playwright at heart. That enthusiasm is captured in her status as a graduate student of dramaturgy at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo, which she enrolled in after unfinished stints studying medicine, pharmacy, and soil science (studies that ended up sparking her interest in the relationship between bodily and otherworldly experience). She writes music reviews and sometimes even produces her own music. Back in high school, she wrote her first novel, still her only one, Sve o Ničemu, Ništa o Svemu ili šta je pisac htio da kaže (All About Nothing, Nothing About Everything, or What the Writer Meant to Say). You can catch glimpses of what she meant to say in her confessional posts on the blog Nisam drska, mama (I'm Not Being Rude, Mom), while she works toward a longer piece of her own. She was born, by sheer chance, in Belgrade in 1990, under the sign of Gemini. Nasiha's first black cat was named Ibret.
