Abraham Sumendap and Heston Prasetyo met while studying in Berklee College of Music, Boston. The duo formed STVDIO to use EDM as an outlet to catalyze their passion in music.

Currently based in NYC, the duo locked themselves up in the basement and started experimenting with various genres of electronic music. One of their proudest collaborations involved an LA-based film scorer, RVN, to release “Symphony in A Minor”. The track features a groundbreaking hybrid of electro house and meticulously orchestrated classical music.

Afterwards, they continued their exploration by adding more organic sounds into their pop tracks, such as flute sounds, chopped vocal tracks and guitar riffs. The duo uses this routine to leave footprints of acoustic elements in tracks like “True”, another collaboration with a fellow-Indonesian vocalist, Angel Pieters, which is due to be released by Shift Axis Records.
