Kidris Soulayman Aka (Someol’dirty Beats / SMODBT) Born and Rise in Tunis, has been Brussels-based since 2010. He caught the vinyl addiction early, thanks to his dad's record collection of oriental music and Jazz. He started making tapes for his friends at age 14 and hasn't stopped making people dance since! Over the years, Kidris has been found playing nice venues around Europe (Brussels, Paris, Ghent, Lille, Liège) and Africa (Tunis, Hamamet). After a residency at Jour de Fête in the heart of Brussels, he shares his music today with Brusseleirs at venues such as Bonnefooi and Epicerie Moderne.
Kidris also curates mixes for websites, radio & music blogs, such as Mellotron (Paris) and Bruzz, Kiosk Radio, and The Word magazine Radio (Brussels). He's affiliated with the Bedroom Beats Crew and Spread Out Records.
