SL Steez is a veteran Salt Lake City based DJ known for his versatility and the ability to rock any crowd. A turntablist, he came up as the city’s original multi-genre dance music DJ who seamlessly infused his hip hop focused approach to the many EDM genres. Steez has opened up (and by that we mean right before and on the same stage) for Dj Craze, Qbert, RJD2, Deadmau5, Benny Benassi, Flying Lotus, Bonobo, Infected Mushroom, Gas Lamp Killer, Kill The Noise, and Steve Aoki just to name a few. Steez was the creator of and co-host of the Inversion Mixshow (formally The Tactical Assault Mixshow), which featured local / national dance music artists and had been running since the early 2000s. Steez is also an original and current member of the V2 Allstars. With a barrage of classic mix tapes and a slew of unforgettable performance, you can’t talk about SLC’s DJ scene without mentioning SL Steez.
