It all began in ’92 — Collecting those old Rave flyers, pirate radio playing through the night, and dreams of turntables I couldn’t afford. Armed with one record deck and a cassette player, I made my first mixtapes — hiss, wobble, and raw passion included.
By ’98 the upgrade was real: belt-driven Soundlabs and a Gemini mixer - pow! Then came the holy grail — Technics 1210s, an A&H mixer, and a Korg KAOSS Pad for intergalactic tweakage. Selling mixed CDs on eBay - this time next year Rodney....
Now it’s a hybrid Technics x Pioneer setup — old-school flavour meets modern sorcery.
I bring a big love for new electronic music (RUM200) whilst keeping a foot in the past.
From late 80s Rave, Breakbeat, Hardcore, Jungle, House to Techno, UKG or DnB.
