Roots Yard started in 2008 when Friendly Fire Music joined forces with Peckers' Jerk Chicken to create Shambala's reggae area.
From strength to strength year to year, the Roots Yard is now a crucial part of the festival, playing reggae music from morning til morning each and every day on the heavyweight Morell Soundsystem, with a carefully curated lineup of DJs, Artists, Soundmen, the best coffees on the site, roots cakes, pancakes, fresh fruit, and rum like water.
