Born 1973 in the north-east of England ;) Lived in Bristol, more on than off, since 1979, all the squats, all the free festivals. I first mixed using 3 tape machines (one had a speed adjuster!) with my brother, Shaun. We didn’t know it was mixing being only 10yrs old. We recorded music from our Spectrum ZX81 games using the tape machines and created our own mash-up song on cassette we called ‘Specky Wrecky’. Our first journey into mixing audio. I’ve played at countless events over years (Mainly the after, after party) House music is my thing on vinyl, and I have lots of it. Over 35yrs collecting and curating and I still haven’t even scratched the surface. I like it deep and funky, uplifting, joyous, weird, sometimes cheesy, sometimes raw. Each mix I do is unique and spontaneous (with a rough map, beginning, middle and endish) but they are journeys through house music history, that play with many grooves throughout.
