I’m a collector of Jamaican music from the 1960s to the mid 80s. Listen to selections of Ska, Rocksteady, Roots, Rockers, Dub and early Dancehall.
Sharing the music I love is my main object here on mixcloud. Every uploaded mix on this page has a central theme. Sometimes it’s about a certain artist, a label or a special period in time while sometimes it’s about the lyrics – as long as there’s a connection, anything goes.
If I can I tell you some fun facts, history and background information. Most of the mixing I’ve done myself, sometimes friends of mine contribute too. In that case you’ll find a reference in the text.
