Starting in 1979, Roberta did a radio show on college radio station KTEQ 91.3 fm Rapid City for two decades! She originally broadcast Tuesdays, noon to 3:00pm, before finding her more permanent position on Wednesdays noon to 3:00pm.

She was one of the most recognizable voices on Alternative Radio in Rapid City, (not just because she was the first female DJ!) She always took great care to present music, conversation and her own philosophy of life.

She was a townie with a permanent position on the schedule as students came and went.
