I am Roach-Rampino. As of June 2023 I have started the Toolroom Academy DJ course, for after 35 years of loving house music I finally decided that I need to learn to mix!!
My intro to house music was seeing my brother going to the early acid raves of '88/'89. He would bring me flyers and get me mixtapes and introduced me to Centreforce, Kiss, Sunrise.
I was into the hardcore scene (before it turned happy) being a regular at The Orange nights (Rocket, Camden Palais, Hippodrome), Labyrinth etc and bigger events like Raindance, Fantazia, World Dance etc .
My first trip to Ibiza in 1993.
I moved to drum&bass/jungle scene as so many of my pals were playing out and the radio too.
I rediscovered a love of house music in 2003 thanks to Point Blank, Centreforce & Select UK Radio. I started going clubbing again and also revisiting Ibiza which has just got better and better.
