Riu Sam (pronouned Ree-yu Sum) is an Anagram of my first name "Marius" -which I started using at the end of my "career" as a music-producer and DJ. I started DJing as hobby in 1992 at the age of 11, and producing at the age of 13 with the use of a friends Amiga 500 and different Trackers.

The years before I decided to stop being part of that music business, I often felt restrained and limited when it comes to freely expressing myself. Mixes had been almost in the same style from start to end, and without much deviation from each other - as promoters, labels, webstations and venues wanted it that way.

After I decided to end my career and do this things only for myself, with a new name, I re-started fully express myself again. I mixed several different styles again, and often even included different styles within one set. On this page I start to share some of the best recordings of the past 7 years.
