I've been working as a DJ 1980-1995. Still playing occosionally. Grew up with electronic music in the 70's and 80's. When all teenagers in the 70's was listening to Sweet, Slade and Abba, i listened to Kraftwerk Giorgio Moroder, Space, Jean Michel Jarre etc. When i started DJ'ing in the 80's, i only played disco and electronic. At that time DK was a "Pop" country, but i kept on playing my own style. I became very interested in Italian Disco. Especially the years from 1982-1986. Me and some friends where totally fanatics and whent to Italy every summer and buying records at all the big labels in Milano, Firenze. We spent a lot of time in Rimini and the amazing discoteque - L'altro Mondo Studios. The homebase for the amazing band - The Creatures. Call me old school, but the best music was made in 1977-1986. A lot of the new stuff being made is strongly inspired from then. Play a track by Giorgio Moroder from 1977 and young people would say it's made yesterday. Timeless!
