Darryl Donovan was born on March 23th 1990 and raised in Amsterdam in a multi-cultural community. Exposed to all sorts of different people and music genres from a early age on.

At the age of 14, while living in Almere, he supported lighting technicians and was exposed to the interaction between DJ's and the crowd for the first time. This is the point when he knew for sure and was willing to give his all to become a well known DJ himself.

He started off his career as DJ Xplosion, a name picked because of the explosive impact he wanted to create. Now 11 years later it's time for change; Riley Scotch is born! 11 years worth of experience. Urban, R&B, Dancehall, Reggaeton, House, Afrohouse and HipHop are genres his entourage knows he spins best. Well known party's in Holland such as Juice, Favella, MyCrush, Suit&Tie and others frequently book Riley Scotch. It's new era and he is ready to go overseas.
