RightOnShawn is a veteran DJ with over 20yrs of experience standing behind two turntables. Born with a passion for listening and playing music, he bought his first record as a child in 1977. It was the fantastic disco funky 7" of Meco - Star Wars Theme/Cantina Band. He thought it was the greatest thing he'd ever heard and he sometimes still works it into his sets to this day! It wasn't long before he picked up a few instruments of his own and became a trained Trumpet and Percussion player. But this, however, did not effect his appreciation for Electronic Music when most of his peers would say "drum machine" as if it were a bad thing. He continued purchasing virtually any kind of music he liked on vinyl throughout his youth and now has a collection of dance music spanning over four decades. He quickly became an active participant the early 90's rave scene and bought his first pair of professional turntables in 1994. The Technics SL-1200MK2, of course.
