After quitting his day job to attend the Los Angeles recording school, southern california native Corey Jordan began to return to his roots of music. Classically trained in piano and music theory, Corey took his passion for music to the next level and began writing original pieces for short films end of 2011. While wanting to shift his focus more to dance music, he began using his knowledge form the classroom to tap into a new style of playing music. Corey knew he needed an Image. An image people could not only identify with but relate to as well , on a global scale. Rex Jefferson was born on Jan 8, 2012. Since the creation of the image, everything seemed to fall into place. While receiving honorable mention for the orchestral #rawr remix of "lifted" for Tritonal, it has been non stop. The idea is only 5 months old, and Rex is on a mission to relay his message to the world via music. #rawr
