I am a developing Layer/PTW(Phase,Transient,Waveform)/Multi-deck 3-4 DJ. I focus on combining tracks to create new sounds while letting them breathe to showcase great production. With no formal music theory behind me, I am my own guy in the scene. I am a systems listener, not a theorist. I can describe exactly how transients, phase, and bass envelopes work just by feeling, easily identifying genre subtypes. I know how they drive the audience and what emotions they invoke. I completely feel music. I am building my own terminology and system based around soundsystem genres. My brain filters music through rhythm, pressure, groove, and bass. I have a curated library of solid sound design: dub styles, tekno, hardtek, hardcore, hard trance, and techno. I cannot wait to have the system built to express this properly, parading artists' music down the catwalk of the dancefloor!
