Bruce Nolan (René van den Berghe) is a Dutch DJ and producer with roots in the early 90s house scene. His first releases appeared on the Rotterdam-based label Stealth Records, including Techno Grooves, B-Real and Fortune & Fame.
During the same period he released his biggest hit under the alias Ian van Dale: Mainx – 88 To Piano on Hithouse Records. This was followed by releases on labels such as CC Records (Vinylwatch, Chord Symbols), Black Hole, Clockwork and Substance.
After a short break, Bruce returned to producing and DJ-ing in 2018 with René van der Weyde (Dave Leatherman). Together they scored several Nu-Disco Top 10 releases on labels including Suppressed Energy, Blockhead, Springbok and Chopshop Music.
Today Bruce continues producing for labels like 2nd Time Around, Supafreak, Nouveaudisque and Starguardz, collaborating with Dave Leatherman and HP Vince.
