London, United Kingdom
Mixing since 1992, with a first gig in '93, DJ Hector cut his teeth playing house and squat parties around London and the Luna Club in Majorca during '94. This progressed to club slots in '95 with Shambhala Sound System/Elektrik Temple.
By '96, bookings landed at Megatripolis at Heaven. When it became Hybernation, Hector booked the main room DJs. Alongside partner Darren Shambhala, they established a residency steering the sound toward uplifting techno-trance.
From 1997, regular appearances followed at Escape From Samsara, Pendragon, Pulse, Transmission, and Carry On Regardless. Years of international touring included sets in Brazil, Argentina, India, Milan, Prague, Normandy, Majorca, and the Paris Techno Parade, plus spots at Tsunami, Undertow, Reflex-Arc, and Pickle.
