Rick’s radio experience also includes being an on-air DJ and liaison to some top artists. Having recently started his own online radio station, he now has a chance to fuse his background in the music industry with his love for football—fantasy football heard on blogtalk radio called soul kitchen radio. His transition to the mobile DJ world was borne out of the desire to network in a different way. “I’m a believer that music is in your soul and will bring all of the happiness out of you,” Rick explains, “and I just love working with so many different clients and their family and friends to continue to spread that love and happiness.” It’s the connection between music and people that puts Rick in his happy place. Plus, he gets to use those DJ skills that he’s been sharpening over several decades.
