When I'm out I listen to mostly moody dancefloor orientated DnB but it's all about liquid if I'm buying records. I like stuff that is musical & soulful rather than just pure muddy mudskipperness (although there is always a time & place for that kind of thing) and I'm always on the look-out for clever use of samples in tunes.

I'm into golden age hiphop with made with jazzy, funky & soulful samples and this is really reflected in the music I play. I'm a sucker for a sick piano loop and for tunes that use samples that have been used for hiphop beats. I prefer vinyl over digital any day of the week but I use Traktor Scratch too cos there's some stuff you'll never find on vinyl if you don't want to start selling organs for cash!
