Born 1981 in Germany, Michael Jaspers aka Rauschware grew up listening to a wide variety of music before discovering his love for electronic music in the late 90s. Due to a lack of events around his hometown Detmold and being friends with the local record store owner, it was no surprise that he soon started hitting the decks himself - mainly playing heavy Techno, Acid and Experimental Electro Beats.

After nearly a decade away from DJing, Rauschware settled in Sydney and it was while living with Canadian DJ/Producer Epos that Rauschware's passion for being behind the decks was revived. Rauschware has recently started producing his own music (coming soon – stay tuned!) and is also involved in running the Plastic Circus: a crew of DJ’s, producers, artists and performers dedicated to organising Secret Warehouse Parties around the Sydney area.
