Ras IKEL is a selector, passionate vinyl collector & promoter

In his selection you can hear mainly ROOTS REGGAE from the 70's and 80's, carrying a strong rasta message.
He also loves to play DUB tunes with spiritual lyrics & positive vibration.

Ras Ikel plays songs in King David style, using only 1 turntable, a preamp and sirens, delivering the music in its purest and also original form at the same time.

Ras Ikel is also a founding member of the ROOTS & CULTURE promotion, which organises sound system sessions in Vienna and has also started the first season of DUB VIBRATION sound system festival this Summer.

Ras Ikel now runs a regular RADIO SHOW on www.realrootsradio.net
