Debuting on Jan. 16, 1995 Irava(voice of Iran) began broadcasting as Ottawa-Gatineau's first Farsi(Persian) radio program. Irava launched its English segment in 2006 to better serve its non-Farsi speaking audience. Irava offers cultural, political and informative interviews as well as news from reputable sources to the Iranian/Canadian community. This independent media is not affiliated politically, financially or otherwise with any groups, organizations or movements.
