was founded in 1981 by our now President, Trevor Simpson as a hospital radio service for Halifax and served the patients of the Halifax General, the Royal Halifax Infirmary and Northowram hospitals. It now broadcasts to the patients of the Calderdale Royal Hospital.

We are made up entirely of volunteers who visit wards chatting to patients and taking requests, attend local community events, maintain our studios and of course present regular shows. We provide a wide range of programmes including pop (from the 50’s to the present day), Country, Rock’ n’ Roll, Comedy, Rock, Musicals, Brass Band and Request Shows.
