Firstly, apologies for the show cutting out prematurely. My music recording software decided it was done for the day around the 1:52 mark.
Anyhow, this is the first MixCloud show for The Space Program, a show dedicated to psychedelic and avant-garde music of all stripes: rock, folk, jazz, world, avant-garde, electronic, drone and beyond. The show started in 2009 and has been a broadcast radio show, a streaming radio show, and for the past few years, the name of a playlist I would post to Spotify every other week.

A very cool show. I like your three part structure and heard stuff I liked a lot in all three parts. Interesting your comments about instrumentals vs vocal music. I like it all, but I do agree that vocals often end up ruining otherwise perfectly good tracks. I do like a lot of “pop” music (broadly defined), and personally I don’t think pop music works nearly as well without vocals! Once again, welcome to Mixcloud!
I think you can post links to whatever you like! I see people post links to online radio stations and to personal websites -- I don't see why you couldn't link to a Spotify playlist (even though listening here is so much more satisfying!).
I definitely agree with your comments on "psychedelic" as an aesthetic rather than a genre. I just posted my own "psychedelic" show and was reluctant what I decided to choose, but then I just decided the expansive definition felt right...
Welcome to Mixcloud! As a creator, it is definitely my favorite place to share my mixes -- much more satisfying than a Spotify playlist and with a lot more creative control. And thanks so much for the tracklist and timestamping -- those are very listener-friendly habits! The tracklist looks very interesting -- it is certainly starting out cool...
