TRADITIONS with RON OLESKO

Since 1975, Ron Olesko has been a radio programmer bringing folk music to the New Jersey/New York City metro area. In 1980 he created the program WFDU-FM's TRADITIONS, the longest running series on the non-commercial radio station.

In 2019, Ron launched FOLK MUSIC NOTEBOOK, a 24/7 Internet channel devoted to the contemporary folk music scene. Listeners can tune in at www.FolkMusicNotebook.com and also download free apps from the site to listen on their favorite listening device.

In his spare time, Ron is the president of and booker for the Hurdy Gurdy Folk Music Club in Fair Lawn, New Jersey and writes a folk music blog for Sing Out! Magazine's website - www.ronolesko.singout.org
