R-Monix is a Drum & Bass Producer & DJ from Bangor, Northern Ireland, and has been a fan of Jungle and Drum & Bass since around 1995. He started producing briefly around 2003, and took up DJ'ing a few years later, organising a number of club nights with DJ Converter and DJ Koncept in Bangor & Co Down.

It wasn't until 2011 that R-Monix decided to up his interest in producing tracks. 90% of his productions are ambient, atmospheric or liquid but he doesn't resign himself to that corner of D&B, and is into the whole spectrum of sounds.

Resumed DJ'ing 2014.

R-Monix got his 1st release around 2010 on an American label Point Audio, and in 2013 had 2 tracks featured on Off-World Recordings Transmissions Volume 4, and another track on Soul Deep recordings. R-Monix has had support and radio play from Grooverider, BBC Radio 1, 1 Xtra, and Radio Ulster, Mistajam, Savage Rehab, Tendai, Stunna, Scott Allen and LM1.
