I am a local Oklahoma visual artist primarily working in oils on canvas and Masonite, with some focus on pen & inks and ink washes. My talents and attentions lean toward representational compositions with a life-long passion toward mastering the human and other life figures in motion. I am continually working toward loosening my brush stroke though my acumen is focusing on highly detailed compositions. Professionally, I enjoy the challenge of a varied subject matter, be it portraits, landscapes, iconic landmarks, wildlife, etc. I mostly focus on commissioned works but occasionally produce works on spec. My ongoing motivation in most of my work comes from all of my creations having a story underpinning the works’ purpose in coming to fruition. Some stories have great depth of meaning, others may just bring to mind good and warm feelings. Others have a story waiting for them when the person serendipidously meant to have one of them comes into its presence.
