Way back in the 90s, my father had a Yamaha MT2X 4-track cassette recorder...that was my first try at mixing. It would take, like, 4 hours to make a 45 minute mix! I would record the first track on tracks 1 and 2, then adjust the playback of that tune to match the next tune coming in...

In the early 2000s, I bought a Denon DN2500F, twin CDJ deck system - now we're talking! That thing was literally used to death. So many mix tapes lol

These days, I'm rocking a Pioneer DDJ SX-2, which I've been using for about 7 years.

I would describe myself as a "transistion DJ" - that is, long, harmonic, and complimentary mixing styles. I like to throw in the odd movie soundbite, or iconic voices, just to raise a smile.

All the music I use is bought and paid for, and I pass on all credit to the labels and artists that make these wonderful tunes.
