This "cloudcast", compiled and mixed by dj Leblanc, is meant to promote the artists playing on Friday August 5th in Recyclart (the last night of the Recyclart Holidays 2011 festival).
The mix catches the groovy atmosphere of a dusty ethio jazz club in Addis Abeba, while in the end shifting to a more dubby and electronic club vibe.

Here are two of Europe's best ethio groove bands who know how to interpret and revitalise the sound of the original 70's Ethiopian masters like Mulatu Astatke, Getatchew Mekuria or Mahmoud Ahmed. An experienced dub warrior dj closes off this party, by lifting up the Abyssinian-Jamaican diaspora sounds to a truly contemporary global level.
