Reality Prime is a vastly gifted music producer and equally talented DJ from Astoria, Queens in New York City. Raised in building 8-10 also known as “The Hill”, he has been writing raw and clever street lyrics and dressing them with some of the most powerful instrumentals in New York City since 1993. With Queens based musical inspirations that include Nas, Run DMC, Lost Boyz, and classic hardcore artist like EPMD, Wu-Tang and Redman, Reality Prime also credits Heavy Metal music for a source of energy that factors into his unique and magnetic style.
<p>The stage name Reality Prime was partly self created due to his commitment to truth and reality in his music, and partly inspired by Optimus Prime from the classic comic Transformers who he looks at as a warrior and leader. He gives credit for his love for Hip Hop music to the way he was able to relate to it from every angle and also use it to express himself.
