Algorithmic has been raised on Welsh hill parties, with heavy influences from the electronic dance scene. He started mixing Nu Skool Breaks.
Al has many influences including but not restricted to Techno, Funk, Dub, Drum N’ Bass, Breaks, Electro and Psychedelic Trance. Using and mixing the genres he was influenced by, he then found his style PsyTechFunk / PsyBreaks.
‘Algorithmic’ previously signed as AL (UK) has had success with his track ‘Mushroom Theory’ On Kindcrime Records and pushed into the track It Down Breaks Charts. More recently with Half Space over Christmas 2015, The E.P 'Who Plays The Frog In Your Band' goto no 5 in the top 100 Beatport Breaks Releases. He has had various other releases since May 2013. Various other labels have given him recognition such as Dusted Breaks UK and V.I.M Records. More recently he has signed with Sub Element Recordings winner of the 2014 Breakspoll Best New Label.
