It basically means "primate one". I can relate to this certain archetype of the monkey, having experienced much ridicule and mockery myself. I wanted to transform this perceived image of negativity to one of productivity. I chose primate instead of monkey as per a theory of evolution that, regardless of race and class, we are all primates. "One" represents "Unity".
The Floorkingz have always been supportive of my art even before I was part of the tribe. I've been graced with receiving the honor of being invited to and joining the Floorkingz last 12 July 2019. I've been with them for more than a year now.
I'm labeled locally (Baguio City) as "the newest Dj with a style represenative of the new generation" by my mentors and other senior DJ's.
I used to play in a band and started learning to DJ late in my journey. As the music scene I was immersed in back then limited my exploration of music to certain genres, I sought other means of musical expression. I fo
