Professor Kinski is a German music producer and performer who has been based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, since 2002. His musical style encompasses a variety of genres, including Dub, Ska, Hip Hop, Electro, Breakbeats, Punk and Pop, often infused with a distinctive Khmer influence.
Best known as the creative force behind Dub Addiction, a prominent Cambodian band recognized for their deep and heavy dub selections. In addition to his work with Dub Addiction, Professor Kinski has collaborated with various artists and projects, such as The Schkoots, Airstrip, Jahzad, and Psychotic Reactions.
His discography includes diverse productions which showcase his ability to blend traditional Cambodian and world music with contemporary styles. He has also remixed tracks for the Cambodian Space Project, bringing a fresh flavor to Cambodian music by transforming 60s Cambodian Rock into Big Beat, Electro, and Dub.
