The mechanical compression cycle of vinyl is the cornerstone of my sound engineering process when building the samples for a live set.

The form of the music is heavily influenced by techno, but it's individual components come from almost every genre. I am only interested in stripping out the sounds from the vinyl that I can plug into acoustic slots within the overall mix.

Sometimes, if I fall in love with a track, I'll let it run by itself. Other times, I use a thin slice of it as a seasoning in the overall mix.

Always EQed and mastered for large scale club systems and high end HI-Fi systems with massive transparent basses, ribbons of tape compressed synths, cathedral like lo-fi soundscapes, crisp high end and a large dynamic range and create a huge soundstage.
