Professor Iyoha & Fromdiroots band was formed in 2008 with the idea of creating an Ekassa rock band. As expression of multiculturalism and commitment to diverse realities of the world. their music has evolved over the years, resulting in their latest work "Boomerang”. The band line up consist of musicians from Africa, Latino America and Europeans, with a breathtaking presences, Ekassa Music is a traditional sound used for ceremonies in the old Benin Empire, it’s style is a combination of various elements such that include Blues, soul, reggae, rock, folk, calypso, creating a clear, cool and personalised melodies, transmitted to their fans and audience freshly. Members of the band have extensive training and experience.
