Hailing from Mexico City, Pro.tone has quietly established itself since 2014 as one of the trusted benchmarks for hybrid UK Bass around 130 BPM in the Mexican and English underground. Within a scene with distinctly British roots, but now globalized, Pro.tone has forged its own path, made of dense rhythmic fabrics with many breaks, combining the hypnotic aspects of techno with the depth of bass. Following this path, he has published with different labels such as Simply Deep (UK London), Sapyens (Czech Republic), Durkle Disco (UK Bristol) or Jelly Bean Farm (USA).

Most recently, it was at Dissident Sound that the producer released his latest EP Zero Day Attack, which showcased his talents as a producer in a Mix Mag London review. Once again we can see the qualities of the artist behind the turntables, qualities that have been proven time and time again, as Pro.tone notably authored a residency with British Threads Radio from May to November 2019.
