“Pretentious: Premium hour” is a weekly radio show for the individuals that crave to break away from the corporate programming that is inundated in every step we take. This is for the indie lovers, the “you’ve never heard of it”ers, the “weary of radio”ers, the “looking for something different”ers. The scotch, the whiskey, the conversation, the “dancing will all flow in rebellion against the programming of our corporate overlords” type of show.

Pretentious was birthed in my house in South Philadelphia where artists frequented on the weekends. Sundays, however, were reserved for close friends. We would get together and play songs that we discovered throughout the week or songs that touched us throughout our lives. There was an eclectic group of people that included comic artists, educators, rappers, singers, bankers, dancers; anyone that was wholly dedicated to the absolute curation of what their brains and hearts consume musically.
