PocketLipps has been on the rise recently, serving a slew of original edits & productions to peak-time slots at Taniwha’s Den festival, a sold-out sweat pit at Morning People, & jams with the S-Ence, Breakaway, and High Functioning crews. A Welly-based music obsessive, PocketLipps has been making waves for over 25 years. His journey began with performances at New Zealand’s iconic 90s New Year's festival The Gathering.
PocketLipps drops everything from bumpy UK garage/techno to breakbeat, electro, & bass sets, funky house/disco or swung grooves within the realms of four-four. His sound is a fusion of house, techno, bass music, post-punk, & indie, skillfully splicing them together with long blends & quick cuts.
A fixture of Wellington’s Radio Active FM for over 20 years, he leads the Late Late Breakfast Show every first Saturday of the month
