Pnky & Brain is the latest tech house project to emerge in the underground scene in Honolulu. Consisting of veteran and former resident Asylum Afterhours DJ/producer Russell Trent and up-and-coming Omia, they specifically focus on producing and playing tracks that move you on the dance floor.
Their tracks bridge the gap between two worlds of sound. They introduce the next generation of clubbers to the music of the underground and the heavier and headier tracks of the after hours.
The growing reputation of Pnky & Brain in clubs around the city find them getting frequent bookings for the young prime time crowd looking for something new beyond EDM that keeps them dancing and grooving through the night. In the short time this project has hit the scene, they've warmed up Matt Anthony of Perfect Driver and recently released a tech house track on that label. With more sounds like it in the works, Pnky & Brain are bound to get you moving on the dance floor soon too.
