New techno night Playground launches on Friday 22nd November at Roadhouse, with one main objective; to bring out your inner child. Resident DJ, Dance Armstrong will start off the proceedings serving up some knee grazing techno followed by the Autophase Live set, a sonic merry go round of seesawing techno including exclusive, previously unheard, tracks made especially for the night. No Techno night would be complete without a world class headliner and Playground is honored to invite Belfast hero Phil Keiran back to Manchester for the first time since 2009. Phil who has been resident DJ at Shine for a decade has produced some of the best techno tracks in existence – personal favorites being “Skyhook” and “I think I’m a Monster”. Not one to be pigeon-holed, Phil has produced an eclectic array of dance music and had a hit record with “Alloy Mental” with his band in 2005. He will be sure to leave you frolicking in a ball pit of beats. For once, we promise you something a bit different!
