Astral Driving is an exploration of retrofuturism and sci-influences in dance music. Each show will rediscover shared feelings of wide-eyed optimism in technological futures from across scenes such as Bleep Techno, 1st and 2nd wave Detroit, New Beat, and early UK IDM. The shows will also include contemporary imaginations of alien and cosmic influences, productions that reclaim and reproduce the same elation of past fantasies of the future.
