We are the Pirates Crew a soundsystem from Ghent, Belgium.
The 'Pirates Crew' boat from Ghent, Belgium entered territorial waters twelve years ago. Since that day we made many dances unsafe with our mix of reggae, ska, rub-a-dub, dancehall and all around Jamaican music.
The last 7 years we have been sailing the airwaves on RADIO urgent.fm with our dancehall program SweetVibez Radio.
We shared the stage with artists as: Tarrus Riley, Duane Stephenson, Fantan Mojah, Perfect, I-Octane, Assassin, Romain Virgo etc.. .
In 2010 we opened the dance at Reggae Geel and left competition far beyond us during 'Present Your Sound'. We also won the RAW 45" clash against Heartbeat in 2012. In 2013 we closed down the Dance Club stage at Couleur Café festival. We had the honor of playing at Reggae Geel in 2013 & 2014, and we played Rototom Sunsplash in Spain in 2015 with our vintage project Dukes vs. Pirates.
