Pim Boreel is an artist working at the threshold of noise and silence, where listening shifts from perception into bodily and affective modes of knowing. Through installations, performances and compositional environments, he investigates vibration as a way to reshape perception, spatial relations and our experience of time. Rooted in his Dutch-Indonesian heritage, his practice draws on embodied, material, and ecological forms of listening to explore how memory, sensation and environment shape one another. His work embraces instability, interference, friction and tension as material conditions for transformation.
